Dr. Vinod Chandiramani, is one of the most professional and genial surgeons whom I have come across. I had interacted with Dr. Chandiramani (hereinafter referred to as Doctor) during the period of September and December 2018. My mother, Mrs. Sheela John, had developed gangrene on her left foot. We met Doctor at Hinduja Hospital, Mahim (Mumbai) for consultation on the 4th of September 2018. He was extremely considerate and lucidly explained to us the necessity of a surgical procedure to remove the gangrene. In this process, my mother's big toe on the left foot would have to be amputated. Doctor assured us that he would do his very best to ensure that the rest of the foot remains intact. My mother had to be hospitalised immediately for the surgery. Due to the non-availability of single rooms at the Mahim hospital which I was keen on admitting my mother into, Doctor recommended that she move to an affiliate hospital, Hinduja Healthcare at Khar. Doctor and his assistant ensured that this transition was smooth. Post my mother being admitted to the hospital, Doctor made multiple visits to check on my mother and initiate crucial diagnostic tests. Due to the reports being favourable, Doctor decided to conduct the surgery the very next day, the 5th of September. Realising that my mother and me were despondent due to the imminent loss of my mother's toe, Doctor did his very best to lift our sagging spirits. He informed us that my mother would be able to walk smoothly and lead a normal life, even post the amputation. Doctor's ability to empathise with his patients as well as being pragmatic and optimistic at the same time is noteworthy. The surgery started at the scheduled time. During the surgery, Doctor came out of the operation theatre and informed me that the surgery seems more complex than was earlier anticipated. His transparency, in the midst of the sensitive scenario, is appreciable. The procedure went well and my mother was discharged in the next 3 days, on the 8th of September. Prior to discharge, Doctor had conveyed to us that we would have to visit him 2-3 times each week for the next few months for the cleaning and dressing of the surgical wound. He provided us with the options to meet him at Hinduja Hospital, Mahim or at his clinic at Linking Road, Bandra (West). We chose the latter due to the proximity of the clinic to our residence. During each visit, Doctor was punctual in spite of his hectic schedule and performed the dressing procedure himself every time. He maintained motivating my mother during each visit and praised the due care which we were taking and was leading to her speedy recovery. He also attributed the quick progressive improvement to my mother's spiritual prayers, which I found special, especially coming from Doctor who is one of the top surgeons in India. Thanks to Doctor's treatment, guidance and kind words, my mother is now fit and fine. She does not even feel that a toe is missing and can travel all by herself without any challenge. I am grateful to Doctor for making this happen and for saving my mother's foot.

Doctor was very polite and made me comfortable on 1st consultation itself. He explained me the issue in details and also the solution to it. Post operative guidance also helped me a lot. Overall fully satisfied with the experience. My sincere thanks to the doctor.

Inspite of his hectic schedule the Dr patiently heated out all my problems and went way beyond to connect me with specialist . He did not even charge us. The Dr is one of the best and the most experienced in medical field. He is very humble, approachable, ************* and above all a great human. I visited Dr Chandiramani on a monday with a 5/6 day old infection, he saw me and advised an immediate surgery. He didn’t force us, just said “if it was my daughter i’d have asked her to get admitted today itself and would have removed the pus infection out of her body today itself”

These words helped us decide and post the surgery he mentioned that he was hoping we don’t go looking for second opinion because there was no time, the infection was spreading so badly. I think it’s standard practice for everyone to go looking for second opinions, especially when one suggests a surgery but we were sure about him as soon as we met him and obviously had great references for him too. He handled the surgery well and has been handling my dressing ever since amazingly well.

He is basically non-commercial and goes above and beyond for the healthy outcome of his patients. He makes one feel at ease and minutely explains all the details of the procedure. All queries are patiently answered by the Dr and he gives sufficient time for each patient. He is supported by a team of efficient.They ensure that all patients are in positive spirit. Definitely recommendated!!!

It was a horrible experience. I was operated twice within a span of two months for the same problem. First time, the surgery was done in his clinic with local anesthesia and hence doctor had an excuse that he could not go much deeper. Second time, the surgery was done in Hinduja Hospital with General anesthesia. The cut was made slightly lower than the exact location of the corn. It looks either the doctor is not experienced in such kind of surgeries or he performed the surgeries in a hurry. I had to undergo a lot of pain and restricted movements for minimum two weeks each time without any fruitful results. The doctor made his money twice for the same problem to the patient without any relief to the patient.

Therefore, I will never recommend this doctor to any patient.

I need to shared my tough time at COVID-19 my father having hereniya problem in the of month of JUN-30 (age of 70).

In COVID-19 time Jun-20 month my father got pain hernia both side truly said I was trying take appointment @ Hinduja hospital but OPD THERE LIMITED DOCTORS. So I got all doctors name from Hinduja hospital on call. There I have decided to go with DR. Vinod CHANDIRAMANI.

Dr. Vinod Chandiramani who really say’s his my God father he only gave suggestions (appointment)I went to his clinic as discussed about my father he only describes planning for surgery and good support to successfully did operation one by one left and right in Hinduja hospital so today I don’t have words to describe and really THANKFUL TO ONCE AGAIN TO DR. VINOD CHANDIRAMANI.

In the tough time I am happy now my father feel better than before worse time and we passed our tough time with good advices by Dr. Vinod Chandiramani
